The integrity and security of our community begins with the number one rule: Use Common Sense. This is a highly competitive and intense environment, and unique issues will undoubtedly arise. As on the real life playing fields, there is an expectation of good sportsmanship and courteous conduct at all times in the video game forums, community, matching, and gameplay. Any profane, abusive, or hateful activity will not be tolerated and will result in the immediate cancellation of your user account.
The rules and policies set forth here are your responsibility to read, understand, and adhere to at all times as a BringIt Member.
BringIt provides four easy methods to setup, enter, or accept a challenge. Both players must agree to participate in the challenge and have the option to create a specific set of rules to govern the challenge. These rules must be stated in the comments section and clearly define the particular details. If a rule is not stated in this section prior to gameplay, it is not considered in any process of review.
When the game is completed, both you and your opponent must report and verify the results. The first player to report will indicate the winner, and it is up to the second player to verify or dispute the results of the game within one hour of the first player's report. If the second player does not verify the report within one hour, the results are considered final. When using Auto Score Reporting, there is no need to report results, as they are submitted automatically to BringIt at the conclusion of each game.
If a game is not played and goes unreported within 6 hours of its scheduled start time, it will be considered cancelled. The respective entry fees will be returned to the respective accounts, less the 10% service fee. The minimum service fee BringIt takes from each player during a challenge is $0.50.
Breaking the rules that you have set forth and agreed to with your opponent is considered cheating. Cheating must be reported immediately and proof must be provided that there was a violation of the specified rules. We have multiple forms of evidence that we consider in any reported dispute investigation. Please read our Dispute policies for more information on how to address cheating.
Our policy allows for one of two choices when a disconnection occurs. First, you can finish out your game by starting a new game, keeping the score at the point of disconnection and playing out the remaining time through the Resume Game Setting in the game title. Or, the player that was losing at the point of disconnection can simply choose to take the loss rather than restarting the game.
If you are using Auto Score Reporting, you have the same two options. However, there are two additional steps that must be taken if you wish to play out the remaining time. These steps prevent the score at the time of disconnection from being automatically accepted as final (click for details).
All new members of BringIt start off with a $50.00 entry fee limit for their first 10 games. The Entry fee limit increases incrementally as more games are completed.
Evidence must be indisputable to reverse the game report. False reporting, fabricated evidence, and any other forms of cheating will result in a Fine, loss of game, and potentially being banned from play on BringIt.
Pictures and Video forms of evidence MUST contain the following to be considered:
If neither players evidence shows indisputable evidence, the challenge will be cancelled and entry fee's refunded less the BringIt service fee.
*For games that do not depict screen shots with scores and online usernames simultaneously, other indisputable evidence may be provided, but must contain match scores, online usernames, and a valid explanation.
We work to resolve all disputes in a timely manner, and ask that you familiarize yourself with our Dispute policies before reporting or filing a dispute. All BringIt decisions are final and can affect your standing in the community.
A dispute can be filed when the final outcome of a game is misreported or there is an incident of cheating. If you observe or suspect your opponent of cheating, you must stop the game immediately and provide evidence that cheating has occurred.
When the outcome of a challenge is not reported correctly, BringIt will use the evidence provided and other means available to determine the true winner. If the winner cannot be determined after a complete investigation, the challenge will be considered a draw and the players will receive their entry fees back, less the service fee.
If it is determined that the score was in fact misreported or there was a verifiable incident of cheating, the person filing the dispute will be awarded the win. If it is determined that the score was reported correctly or there was no proof of any cheating, the dispute is considered a False Dispute. Please note that filing a False Dispute or receiving a judgment against you for cheating will result in negative feedback and indicators placed on your profile.
When using the Auto Score Reporting option, these reports are considered final and therefore the final outcome cannot be disputed. However, you can still dispute any cheating that occurs during the game or log a disconnect should that be the case.
Disputes can be filed based on three circumstances:

Unless otherwise stated here, all rules and policies above apply to Multiplayer Tournaments. Exceptions are indicated as follows:
BringIt sets the rules to govern each tournament. You do not have the option of creating a specific set of rules between you and your opponent.
Unlike standard two-player matches, tournament entry fees are nonrefundable, and forfeit wins are permitted: If you cancel or fail to show up for a tournament game, you forfeit your entry fee, and your opponent will receive a bye for the next round. Additionally, you must make contact with your opponent within the first 24 hours of any round. Failure to initiate contact or respond to communications sent by your opponent within 24 hours after a round begins will constitute a forfeit.
